Laura Spencer, CEO and President of Spencer McMillan Public Relations is one of a handful of top African American corporate executives who have worked with and for Fortune 50 to 500 companies in the field of social media.

Spencer has over 25 years in marketing, sales, social media and public relations experience. In 2008, Spencer was the very first hire for the newly established social media team for The Walt Disney Company. She was immediately given control of the company’s fledgling social media websites, overnight making her America’s social media mom. Now, she is a highly sought after leader in the industry appearing in articles, speaking engagements, and featured as an industry insider on morning TV and radio as social media and marketing's "Princess Mom."
